Robert Barker

Robert Barker currently serves as Secretary of the College at Knox College, where responsibilities include managing governance-related matters and acting as a strategic partner to senior officials. Prior to this role, Robert was Special Assistant to the VP for Strategic Initiatives, overseeing the development and execution of strategic initiatives and managing high-level events for the Board of Trustees. Robert's earlier experience includes positions at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where oversight of student rights and responsibilities took place as Assistant Dean of Students and Director of the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities, as well as Assistant Dean of Students, providing crisis intervention support. Robert also held roles at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, including Judicial Programs Coordinator and Community Director. Robert holds two master's degrees in Sports Management and Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from Old Dominion University.
