Deok-Hwang Kwon

Deok-Hwang Kwon is a Senior Researcher at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology since March 2021, with a focus on advancing Li/Na cathode technologies. Prior experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Berkeley Lab from January 2016 to March 2021, where significant contributions involved characterizing structure changes in emerging cathodes and analyzing their impact on electrochemical performance. Earlier roles included a Graduate Student Intern at Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology in 2009, where work centered on LED fabrication and property analysis, and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Pohang University of Science and Technology in 2008, specializing in ZnO nanorod synthesis. Deok-Hwang Kwon holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science from Seoul National University, completed in 2015, and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from the same institution in 2008.
