Lakshmi Iyer

Lakshmi Iyer serves as the CEO of Investment & Strategy at Kotak Alternate Asset Managers Limited, since November 2022, overseeing investment strategy and product solutions across various asset classes. Prior to this role, Lakshmi held the position of President, CIO-Debt, and Head-Products at Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Company from November 1999 to November 2022, managing substantial fixed income and offshore assets while actively engaging with institutional clients globally. Lakshmi has received multiple accolades for expertise in fixed income, including recognition as one of the Top 25 most influential women in asset management in Asia. Earlier career experience includes a role as a Research Analyst at Credence Analytics, where Lakshmi contributed to bond market research and technology solutions for financial markets. Lakshmi holds an M.B.A. in Finance from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies.
