Janice Degarmo

Janice DeGarmo is the Chief Operating Officer at the Krach Institute for Tech Diplomacy at Purdue. With a background in leadership roles at the U.S. Department of State, including Director and Acting Chief Data Officer, Janice has led teams and initiatives focused on business transformation, data analytics, strategic governance, and policy development. Janice also has experience in management and budget analysis at the Bureau of Labor Statistics. With a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Tulane University and a Master of Business Administration in International Business from the University of Maryland, Janice brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role.
