Anu Ruusunen

Dr. Anu Ruusunen serves as a University Lecturer in nutrition therapy at the Institute of Public Health and Clinical Nutrition at the University of Eastern Finland since August 2019. With a research focus on clinical dietary interventions for psychiatric disorders such as eating disorders, depression, and schizophrenia, Dr. Ruusunen has contributed significantly to the field. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Deakin University and Registered Dietitian at Kuopio University Hospital, where Dr. Ruusunen has been involved in research since November 2013. Dr. Ruusunen completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Nutritional Epidemiology at the University of Eastern Finland and holds a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition from the University of Kuopio.
