Karen Calva

Karen Calva is currently working as the Machine Learning Lead at Kushki since March 2023. Prior to this, they were the Data Science Lead at Kushki from May 2021 to March 2023. Karen has also worked as a Professor at Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral since May 2023. Previously, they worked as a Professor at Sociedad Ecuatoriana de Estadística from October 2016 to January 2023. Karen has also held positions as a Data Scientist at Banco Pichincha from December 2020 to May 2021, a Data Scientist at PRODUBANCO - Grupo Promerica from November 2018 to December 2020, a Data Analyst at Escuela Politécnica Nacional from March 2018 to August 2018, and a Data Analyst at SERCOP Ecuador from April 2016 to September 2016.

Karen Calva has a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Escuela Politécnica Nacional, which they obtained from 2012 to 2018. Karen then pursued a Master's degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from UNIR Universidad Internacional de La Rioja from 2020 to 2021. In 2019, they completed a data science program at Handytec Academy. Later, in 2021 and 2022, they participated in a MicroMasters program in Statistics and Data Science from MITx Courses and also took a course on "Estrategias para el Desarrollo de Mujeres" (Women Lead) at INCAE Business School.
