Gerardo Salinas

Gerardo Salinas is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in information systems security engineering and cybersecurity advisory roles. Currently serving as a Senior Information Systems Security Engineer at L3Harris Technologies since August 2024, Gerardo previously held the position of Cybersecurity Engineer and Advisor at SteelGate LLC. Experience includes roles as a Cybersecurity Engineer and Instructor at the US Army Cyber Center of Excellence, and involvement in cybersecurity training with Counter Hack. Gerardo has also served as a Senior SOC Technical Advisor for the 160th Signal Brigade and a Network Manager for the 25th Infantry Division. Gerardo’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland Global Campus and an Associate of Science in Information Technology from Central Texas College.
