Cameron Thomason

Cameron Thomason, MBA, currently serves as Vice President of Acute Care Services for Hospitals and Health Systems at Labcorp since August 2022. Prior to this role, Cameron held the position of AVP, Strategy Officer for the Atlantic Division at Laboratory Corporation of America from July 2018 to September 2022 and was the Administrative Director of System Level Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Wake Forest Baptist Health from November 2013 to July 2018. Additional experience includes serving as Editor and Director of Publications for the NC Healthcare Financial Management Association’s Tarheel News and Senior Director of Clinical Operations at Wake Forest Baptist Health Lexington Medical Center. Cameron’s career began as a Financial Analyst at Lexington Memorial Hospital and included an internship with United Healthcare. Educational qualifications include a degree in Health Policy and Healthcare Administration from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Business Administration with a Healthcare Specialty from Capella University.
