Dongfang Qu

Dongfang Qu is an undergraduate student at Columbia University, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature. Currently serving as an Undergraduate Leadership and Research Scholar at the Laidlaw Foundation since May 2023, Dongfang Qu conducts independent research on the narrative construction of the self in pre-modern China under the guidance of Professor Lu Kou. Additionally, Dongfang Qu holds multiple editorial roles with the Columbia Journal of History and Columbia Journal of Asia, and acts as the Director of Programming and Symposium Teaching Fellow for Symposium Global. Dongfang Qu also contributes as the VP of Outreach for the Columbia China Forum. Educational background includes attendance at Princeton Day School from September 2018 to June 2022.
