John Demming

John Demming, CPP, CHPA has extensive experience in security and safety management within the healthcare industry. John currently serves as the Director of Security and Safety at Lakeland Regional Health-Florida. John is also a member of the Board of Directors at the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS). Previously, they held the role of Director of Operations at HSS and had oversight responsibility for the Safety, Security, and Emergency Management departments at St. David's HealthCare. John also served as a Security Program Manager at St. David's HealthCare and as a Security Supervisor at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare. In their various roles, Demming has demonstrated their skills in hiring and managing security personnel, overseeing security programs, and ensuring the safety and security of healthcare facilities.

John Demming, CPP, CHPA holds a Bachelor's Degree in Public Safety and Security from Florida State University and a Master of Arts in Public Management from The Johns Hopkins University. John also obtained a High School Diploma from Monarch High School. Furthermore, they have acquired numerous certifications in different fields such as emergency management, healthcare security, incident command, and risk management. The certifications were obtained from institutions like FEMA, International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS), and ASIS International.
