Ellie Trope

Ellie Trope has over 15 years of work experience. Ellie began their career in 2004 at Overbreak as Counsel, providing day to day legal advice to product development, marketing, finance and human resources departments, concerning strategic planning, risk management, labor relations, governmental regulations, intellectual property and litigation management. Ellie also managed the company's intellectual property portfolio and designed, executed and supervised company wide Intellectual Property Portfolio Audits consisting of domestic and international patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. In 2006, they joined MGA Entertainment as General Counsel and Senior Corporate Counsel. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at Legend 3D | VR | FX as Vice President Legal Affairs. In 2018, they moved to Genius Brands International Inc (GNUS) as a Contract Attorney. Most recently, they have been working at L'ange Hair as General Counsel since 2019.

Ellie Trope obtained their Doctor of Law (JD) from Whittier Law School between 1990 and 1993. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science from the University of California, Riverside between 1983 and 1988.
