Benjamin Homan

Benjamin Homan has held various leadership roles throughout their career. Benjamin started as a Lecturer and Speech and Debate Director at the University of California - Irvine in 1983. In 1988, they joined Covenant Theological Seminary as Vice President until 2001. From 2001 to 2010, Homan served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Food for the Hungry, Inc. During this time, they also became the Chairman of the Board for Accord Network from 2004 to 2008. Homan was appointed as a Commissioner and Presidential Appointee for the US Government Accountability Office's HELP Commission from 2006 to 2008. In 2009, they became a Board Member for Phoenix Seminary, a position they held until 2015. Finally, in 2010, Homan took on the role of President for Langham Partnership USA, an integral part of Langham Partnership International.

Benjamin Homan attended Biola University from 1977 to 1980, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. Benjamin then enrolled at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 1980 to 1982, studying Organizational Communication. In 1985, they briefly attended Shanghai Normal University, but the field of study is unspecified. In 1992, Benjamin pursued International Affairs at Washington University in St. Louis until 1999. Furthermore, in 1996, they attended Nankai University for Mandarin Language studies. It is noteworthy that no degree was specified for their time at Washington University in St. Louis or Nankai University.
