Uday Subbarayan

Uday Subbarayan began their career in 1997 as a Software Development at Kovai TDI, where they worked on a tool for Information and Planning for private bankers and consulted on the SS7 protocol based Intelligent Network Router software product in the telco domain. In 2000, they joined Sun Microsystems, Inc. as a MTS to Sr. Staff Engineer, where they were a founding member and tech lead of Sun's cloud computing team. In 2004, they moved to Sonoa Systems/Apigee as the Director of Software and Founding Member, where they worked on an API Gateway. In 2011, they became the Vice President of Cloud Engineering at Ciespace Corporation, a cloud-native SaaS for engineering simulation with a real-time collaboration engine. In 2015, they founded and became the SVP Engineering at Elastic Beam, Inc., an API Security Startup. In 2018, they joined Ping Identity as the Sr.Director of Intelligence and API's & Head of Ping India, and in 2021 they moved to Lavu Inc. as the Senior Vice President of Engineering and VP of Engineering.

Uday Subbarayan has a long educational history. Uday completed a Master of Engineering in Applied Electronics from the Coimbatore Institute of Technology in 1995. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communication Engineering from the Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences in 1992. Uday Subbarayan also completed their high school from Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Coimbatore in 1988, with a focus in Mathematics and Computer Science.
