Anas Shoqar, MA, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Anas started their career as a Business Development Representative at QNET Ltd from November 2010 to October 2011. Anas then progressed to become a Business Development Manager at the same company from November 2010 to January 2014.

In 2014, Anas joined MLC Modern Language Center as a Business Development Specialist from February 2014 to December 2014. Additionally, they had a brief stint as a Sales Manager at the same company from January 2015 to May 2015.

Anas then transitioned to Learn It Live, where they worked as a Marketing Consultant from August 2014 to December 2019. Anas later became the Head of New Partnerships at Learn It Live from January 2020, and continues in that role.

Aside from their corporate experience, Anas also worked as an Editor at The Philipp University of Marburg from March 2019 to February 2021. Additionally, they served as an Editor and research assistant at the University of Pittsburgh from April 2020 to March 2021, collaborating on a research project focused on Syrian refugee health information networks and their impact on chronic illness management in Jordan.

Anas Shoqar obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Language and English Literature from Damascus University, where they studied from 2006 to 2012. Anas later pursued an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Applied Economics from the University of Konstanz, attending from 2016 to 2017. Anas then pursued a Master's degree in North American Studies from The Philipp University of Marburg, where they studied from 2015 to 2018.

Currently, Anas is enrolled in the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, where they will be completing a degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from 2022 to 2023.

In terms of additional certifications, Anas obtained a Fitness Nutrition Certification from Shaw Academy in August 2017. Anas also achieved the Nationally Certified Teacher of Music (NCTM) certification from Upskillist in January 2020. In March 2023, Anas acquired three certifications: Human Resource Management: HR for People Managers Specialization from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, Project Management & Other Tools for Career Development from the University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education on Coursera, and Project Management Principles and Practices Specialization, also from the University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education on Coursera.
