Alison Power

Alison Power is an experienced Business English Trainer currently working at Language Services Direct since January 2021, providing one-to-one teaching in Business English as a Second Language. In December 2018, Alison began working with Learnlight as a Business and General TEFL Tutor, offering both face-to-face and online training. Additionally, Alison has been providing freelance teaching services through Tutor Hunt since November 2019, specializing in Business English communication and presentation training. As the founder of Apowerceltatutors since June 2018, Alison focuses on personalized training for Business and General English in one-on-one and small group settings. Previously, Alison taught at The Mayfair School of English from July 2019 to April 2020, and possesses a rich background in business and marketing, including roles as Director and Managing Director at The Associates and Account Director positions at Edwards Martin Thornton and JWT. Alison holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Sciences and Anthropology from Oxford Brookes University, completed in 1983, and has prior educational experience at Charterhouse from 1977 to 1979.
