Dominick Boyd currently serves as Deputy Chief of the EMS Office of Quality and Standards for Lee County, a role encompassing management of professional standards, quality management, and accreditation functions since July 2005. Boyd has progressed through various positions within the EMS sector, including Division Chief and Lieutenant, where responsibilities included operational oversight and employee leadership. With a strong background in prehospital care, Boyd has served in roles such as Flight Paramedic and Field Training Officer. In addition to practical experience, Boyd contributed to child welfare governance as a Board Member for the Children's Network of SWFL and provided instruction as an Adjunct Faculty member at Edison State College. Boyd holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Health Services and a Master of Science in Aeronautical Science, alongside various certifications in emergency medical services.
