Weifang Ling

Weifang Ling has over 15 years of work experience in the field of biotech and pharmaceuticals. They currently hold the position of Senior Principal Scientist at Legend Biotech, a role they have been in since April 2022. Before that, they worked as a Principal Scientist at the same company from January 2020 to April 2022. Prior to Legend Biotech, Weifang Ling worked as a Scientist at Celularity, Inc. from April 2018 to January 2020. They also held the position of Senior Scientist at Evotec from April 2016 to April 2018. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Scientist II Kelly OCG at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson from May 2015 to April 2016. Weifang Ling also worked as a POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey from January 2015 to May 2015. They started their career as a Graduate Student at Child health institute of NJ Rutgers university in January 2008, where they worked until November 2013. Weifang Ling also gained research experience as a Research Assistant at Wuhan University from August 2003 to June 2006.

Weifang Ling earned a Master's degree in Microbiology, General from Wuhan University in the period of 2003 to 2006. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Microbiology and Immunology at Rutgers University from 2006 to 2013.
