Rob Atkinson

Rob Atkinson, MCIPS, CTPrac, serves as the Head of Procurement and Support Services at Leicestershire Police since January 2024 and has previously held various procurement roles in law enforcement, including Head of Procurement and Procurement Officer at Derbyshire Constabulary from March 2015. With extensive experience in managing complex tendering, contracting processes, and category management in public sector procurement, Rob has effectively supported partnerships across multiple police forces. Prior to these roles, Rob held positions in sports retail and managed significant purchasing responsibilities, including a £100m product buy at Sportsdirect. Educational qualifications include a shared service architecture degree focused on collaboration and accreditation from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply.
