Jodi Morrison, PMP, CMP, DES has over 20 years of experience in corporate event leadership. Jodi currently serves as the Vice President of Operations at Lenos Software, where they oversee global customer support and professional services. Prior to that, they held roles at Oracle, Atlassian, and Rent-a-Computer/Menlo Technology Group. At Oracle, Jodi managed the production of global live events and was responsible for reviewing and approving requisitions and invoices for cost-saving opportunities on events. At Atlassian, they served as a Senior Event Technology Manager, negotiating contracts with vendors and ensuring they met security requirements. Jodi also has experience in board memberships, having served on the CEMA-Corporate Event Marketing Association board and the CEMA board of directors. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.
Jodi Morrison, PMP, CMP, DES, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Santa Clara University, a four-year program completed from 1987 to 1991.
Jodi also holds several additional certifications, including "Accessibility Considerations for Event Planning" obtained from the PCMA in August 2022, "Manager as Coach" from LinkedIn in May 2022, "Project Management Foundations: Schedules" from LinkedIn in November 2021, "Critical Thinking for More Effective Communication" from LinkedIn in October 2021, "Interpersonal Communication" from LinkedIn in October 2021, "Business Acumen for Project Managers" from LinkedIn in September 2021, and various other certifications related to sales, marketing, customer service, and Microsoft Office applications obtained between June and August 2021.
