Setu K.

Setu K. has an extensive work experience spanning from 2011 to 2022. In 2011, they began their career as a Researcher and Undergraduate Course Supervisor at the University of Cambridge. They were also a Research Project Supervisor at NanoDTC, University of Cambridge from 2014 to 2016. In 2016, they became a Post-doctoral Research Associate (Technology Transfer) at the University of Cambridge. From 2017 to 2019, Setu K. worked as a Senior Analyst: Technical & Business Consultant at Acidophil LLC, Director of Operations at Chalante, and Biopharma Strategy Consultant at Catenion. In 2020, they held two roles at atai Life Sciences, Manager of Chemistry, Manufacturing & Controls and Manager of Business Operations & Strategy. Currently, Setu K. is the Head of Science & Engineering at leon-nanodrugs since 2022. They have also held a Visiting Research Scholar role at Tsinghua University in 2014.

Setu K. began their educational journey in 2004, when they completed A-Levels (UCLES) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics at The Cambridge School, Calcutta (India). They then went on to pursue a BSc Honours in Biological Chemistry (Sandwich course) at Aston University from 2006 to 2010. Following this, Setu K. completed an MPhil in Chemistry at the University of Cambridge in 2011. In 2015, Setu K. completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry at the University of Cambridge and an Ignite Program in Business Administration and Management, General at the Cambridge Judge Business School.
