Mark MacKes

Mark Mackes is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in systems engineering across various industries, including aerospace and smart utility applications. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Systems Engineer at Leonardo DRS since August 2021, Mark has previously held significant roles such as Principal Systems Engineer at Itron, where Mark led multidisciplinary teams in developing innovative products for IoT and advanced metering infrastructure. Mark's career includes leadership positions at UTC Aerospace Systems, Lockheed Martin, NASA Dryden, and General Electric, contributing to projects ranging from air data computers for aircraft to advanced cryptographic processing modules.
