Ryan Roemerman

Ryan Roemerman serves as a Partner at Lexicon Strategies, a firm focused on community and social impact consulting. As Principal at Social Venture Insight since May 2014 and Advocacy Advisor and Executive Director of the LGBTQ Institute at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights since December 2014, Ryan has shaped initiatives that advance LGBTQ equity through research and education, especially in the American South. Additionally, Ryan created Safe School Certification to promote equitable learning environments and co-founded the Iowa Pride Network, enhancing protection against discrimination for marginalized LGBTQ youth. Holding a BA in Communication Studies from the University of Iowa, Ryan's extensive experience encompasses leadership in various organizations, strategic communications, and advocacy for social justice and civil rights.
