Keira Lee Rice

Keira Lee Rice's work experience includes being a Scientist at Leyden Labs starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they were a PhD candidate at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology from September 2018 to August 2022. Keira Lee also worked as a Student Ambassador at Gordon Research Conferences in July and August 2018. In 2017, Keira served as a Junior Research Associate at the University of Sussex for three months. Keira Lee began their career in 2015 as a Marketing Officer at AIESEC in HKUST at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where they worked until December 2015.

Keira Lee Rice's education history begins in 2014 when they enrolled at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology for their Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology, which they completed in 2018. Keira Lee then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Life Science at the same institution from 2018 to 2022. In 2016 and 2017, Keira also attended KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where they studied Biotechnology and Nanotechnology. In 2019, they further expanded their knowledge by attending the IDEA League Summer School at Delft University of Technology, focusing on the Ethics of New Biotechnologies.
