Scott Walker

Scott Walker has extensive experience in the field of information technology. Scott is currently serving as the Director of Information Technology at Liberty Furniture, where they are responsible for modernizing infrastructure and preparing the company for growth. Scott oversees the management of technology infrastructure, maintenance, efficiencies, and overall systems. Prior to their current role, Scott worked as a Solutions Architect at Sirius Computer Solutions from 2019 to 2022. Before that, they held various roles at Infinity Insurance, including VP of IT Infrastructure, AVP of IT Infrastructure, Manager of System Administration, and Senior Unix System Administrator. In these positions, they demonstrated strong leadership skills and was responsible for managing infrastructure architecture, technology implementation, and supervising system administration staff.

Scott Walker attended Gadsden State Community College from 1984 to 1986, where they earned an associate's degree in Computer Science. Scott then went on to enroll at Jacksonville State University from 1986 to 1989 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Scott Walker also holds additional certifications such as the VSE Veritas NetBackup Appliance 3.x from Veritas Technologies LLC, which they earned in June 2021, and the Nutanix Certified Sales Representative: Level 3 certification from Nutanix, obtained in December 2019.
