Delaney Ragsdale

Delaney Ragsdale is a Medical Laboratory Technician at LifeBrite Laboratories since April 2021. Prior experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Laboratory of Dr. Vincent Starai, where research focused on Wolbachia effector proteins and their interactions in yeast models from August 2018 to December 2019. Delaney also participated in various advanced lab courses, including the Experimental Microbiology Laboratory under Dr. Ellen Neidle and Dr. Timothy Hoover, which involved characterizing LysR-type transcriptional regulators in Acinetobacter baylyi ADP1, and the Evolutionary Biology Laboratory, analyzing mutations in Escherichia coli. Delaney holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology, Genetics, and Cellular Biology from the University of Georgia, earned in 2019.
