Yolany Alcantara

Yolany Alcantara has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. At LifeHikes®, they served as the Director of the Program Office, where they spearheaded large-scale strategic initiatives and facilitated cross-functional planning and communication between departments. Yolany also managed the Training Assessment Scorer (TAS) Team and its related activities. Additionally, at LifeHikes®, Yolany worked as the Director of Product Operations, leading product launches and serving as a Scrum Master for the Product Team. Yolany created and documented the Go-To-Market Playbook and implemented Agile Sprint processes within the product team.

Prior to their time at LifeHikes®, Yolany worked at Laureate International Universities, where they held multiple roles. As the Senior Manager of Laureate Advantage Courseware, they strategized the implementation of numerous courses in universities across different disciplines and trained the Courseware Development Team to function as an Agile cross-functional team. Yolany also led the creation of "The Vault," a secure vault of content to protect Laureate's intellectual property.

Before joining Laureate, Yolany worked at UNITEC as the Career Coordinator for Business Administration and Tourism. Yolany managed a team of faculty members and students, leading the career accreditation process and implementing student satisfaction focus groups. Yolany'sefforts resulted in a positive Net Promoter Score among the student population.

Yolany Alcantara obtained a Master's degree in Tourism Management Heritage from Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed a degree in Business Administration and Tourism at Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana from 2005 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Yolany Alcantara also holds various certifications. Yolany obtained the Section4 Completion Badge for Analyzing Data for Insights and the Section4 Completion Badge for Structuring Teams for Impact in January 2023. In May 2022, they achieved the certification of Section 4 Certified Complete Manager. Yolany Alcantara also holds certifications such as Section4 Certified Scaling Marketing Strategist (February 2022), Section4 Certified Brand Strategist (July 2021), Certificate in User Experience and Interaction Design Specialty Certificate from Nielsen Norman Group (February 2020), and Association for Talent Development (ATD) Master Instructional Designer™ from ATD CI - The ATD Certification Institute (April 2021). Furthermore, they obtained certifications from Scaled Agile, Inc. including Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist (August 2020), Certified SAFe® 4 Product Owner/Product Manager (December 2019), and Certified SAFe® 4 Practitioner (September 2019).
