Roxana Piotrowska

Roxana Piotrowska is an Investor Relations Communication Associate at LifeSci Advisors and has extensive communications and academic research experience in diverse areas, including nanomaterials, peptides, nanofabricated healthcare devices, wound healing, and drug delivery. Roxana built up her industry experience while getting her Ph.D. She worked with startups through a collaboration between the CUNY ASRC and Futureworks NYC, and at tech accelerator VentureOut. Most recently, she worked with the life science investing group Mid-Atlantic Bio Angels. Roxana earned her Ph.D. at the Advanced Science Research Center at the Graduate Center, CUNY (City University of New York) in Chemistry specializing in nanotechnology and materials science. Prior to joining the Ph.D. program, Roxana worked at Cresilon, a medical device company that focuses on hemostatic technologies. Roxana is also Vice-President of Nanotech NYC a non-profit organization that aims at fostering the advancement of the nanotechnology and nanoscience communities in the greater New York City area.
