Ethan Waite has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and livestreaming. Ethan started their career at Microsoft as a Software Design Engineer II, where they worked on the Developer Ecosystem and Interactive teams at Mixer. During their time at Microsoft, they focused on empowering third-party developers to create unique integrations with the platform.
Following their tenure at Microsoft, Ethan co-founded StreamJar, a livestreaming platform that offered professional tools and monetization options for broadcasters on Beam (now Mixer). StreamJar grew significantly under their leadership and was used by tens of thousands of live streamers.
More recently, Ethan joined Lightstream as a Software Engineer. Ethan is currently working on Rainmaker.gg, a livestreaming platform that offers a range of broadcasting tools.
In addition to their industry experience, Ethan also worked as a Lab Demonstrator at Durham University, where they shared their knowledge and expertise with students.
Ethan Waite began their education at Lymm High School in 2011, where they pursued their GCSE studies until 2016. Following this, they attended Sir John Deane's College from 2016 to 2018, where they completed their A-Levels. From 2018 to 2022, Ethan enrolled in Durham University, where they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science.
