Lisa Marrocchino

Lisa worked in the financial field for 12 years beginning her career at Goldman Sachs in technology research, writing reports on software giants including Microsoft, Oracle, SAP. She then went on to become a partner at at Palantir Capital, investing in high-growth sectors including technology and retail, with investors that included the Ziff Brothers. Lisa researched, analyzed and invested in some of the most well known technology and retail companies. Her strengths include identifying key strategic relationships and strengths and weaknesses in business models and markets. She spent 8 years in the fashion world, investing and managing both a retail and wholesale label. She helped launch and create a women’s clothing label, Voudoo.

On the retail side, she funded and opened a series of pop-up stores that sold clothing and women’s accessories. Lisa has been very involved in charities. She sits on the board of Rx Compassion as Secretary, a non-profit, which endeavors to put compassion back into medicine. She has been involved in Urban Tech, Georgetown University, through her family foundation has given over one quarter of a million dollars away to different causes over the last 10 years.

As CEO of Gifts That Give, Lisa’s number one job was to make sure the company was well funded, lead and inspire the team, and make the strategic relationships that help build a large valuable company. Gifts That Give combined all of Lisa’s passions in one place-fashion and merchandise, business, technology and social media and charitable giving. Her other passions include art and film. As Associate Producer, of “Danny Says”, music documentary about Danny Fields who discovered and managed the Ramones and made a legendary impact on the music industry. “Danny Says” premiered at SXSW March 2015, Lincoln Center July 2015, a deal was recently announced with Magnolia Pictures for worldwide distribution rights.
