Mario Torres

Mario Torres has worked in various roles since 2012. From 2012-2013, they were a Recreation Services Leader at the County of Los Angeles. From 2013-2015, they were a Student Worker - Financial Aid Assistant at UC Irvine, a Vice President, Recruitment Chairman, and Previous VP of Scholarship at Beta Theta Pi, and a Human Resources Recruiting Intern at Mattson Resources. In 2015, they were an Assistant Bookkeeper at American Campus Communities. From 2016-2017, they were an Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist at Landmark Theatres, and a Treasury Accountant - Jr. at Magnolia Pictures / HDNet Films / Landmark Theatres / Truly Indie. Since 2018, they have been a Financial Analyst and Staff Accountant at Lime Crime, where they have prepared and distributed financial reports, managed bi-weekly and monthly meetings, and owned daily bank and cash duties.

Mario Torres obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Managerial Economics from UC Irvine between 2012 and 2016. Mario then went on to obtain an Associate's Degree in Accounting from Santa Monica College between 2017 and 2019. In addition, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Social Policy & Public Service, with an emphasis in Educational Policy, from UC Irvine between 2012 and 2016. Mario also has two additional certifications from Codecademy, an Analyze Data with Microsoft Excel Course and a Learn SQL Course, both obtained in May of 2022.
