Roy Liu

Roy Liu has worked in the technology industry since 2002. Roy began their career as a Software Developer and Managing Director at CNKI. In 2006, they joined Microsoft Corporation as a Project Lead and Researcher. From 2013 to 2015, they were a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Université de Montréal. Roy then moved to Huawei as a Principal Scientist from 2015 to 2017. In 2018, they became the Chief Scientist at LinkDoc Technology. Currently, they are a Partner VP at Zaijia (小鱼在家).

Roy Liu obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 1995-1999. Roy then went on to obtain their Master's degree in Computer Science from Tsinghua University in 1999-2002. Finally, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2008-2012.
