Myung Lee has worked in a variety of roles across a range of organizations. In 2023, they began working as a Strategy and Innovation Fellow at Living Cities and as an Advisor at Safe Living Space. In 2020, they became a Member at Chief, President and CEO at Volunteers of America-Greater New York, and a Program Advisor/Consultant at Bloomberg Philanthropies. In 2014, they were the Founding Executive Director at Cities of Service. In 2012, they were the Deputy Commissioner, Early Care and Education at the City of New York, Administration for Children's Services. In 2008, they were the Executive Director, Tri-State Region at Jumpstart. In 2005, they were the Vice President, Corporate Development at Safe Horizon. Finally, in 2003, they were the Program Director at The Partnership for the Homeless.
Myung Lee attended Bronx High School of Science from 1980 to 1984. Myung then went on to earn a BA in Political Science from Binghamton University between 1984 and 1988. Lastly, they completed a JD in Law from Georgetown University Law Center from 1988 to 1991.
