Dr. Ian Coyle

Dr. Ian Coyle, ICMA-CM, serves as the County Administrator for Livingston County, New York, since July 2008, overseeing key executive functions including administration, budget implementation, and strategic planning. As President and Founder of Pracademic Partners since December 2018, consulting services are provided to local governments, public sector organizations, and higher education. Dr. Coyle holds adjunct faculty positions in various universities, teaching courses in public administration and management, and has contributed to multiple institutions including California State University, Dominguez Hills and the University of Virginia. Dr. Coyle earned a Doctor of Public Administration in Public Sector Management from Valdosta State University in 2023, and possesses an MPA in Local Government Management from the University at Albany and a BA in Political Science from St. Bonaventure University.
