Mike Buckentin

Mike Buckentin has over three decades of experience in the steel manufacturing industry, currently serving as the President and CEO of Logan Aluminum since October 2017. Prior roles include Vice President of Operations at NS BlueScope Coated Products - North America, Chief Operations Officer at Solb Steel, and Vice President of Operations at Osceola Steel Company. Mike's leadership capabilities were enhanced at Commercial Metals Company and Oregon Steel Mills, where extensive responsibilities included overseeing large-scale operations, managing budgets, and driving safety and quality initiatives. Mike holds a Master of Science in Materials Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering from Montana Technological University.
