Jonathan Pape

Jonathan Pape has diverse work experience in the fields of cloud engineering, IT solutions architecture, and systems administration. Jonathan started their career at Vail Resorts Retail as a Systems Administrator from June 2002 to May 2006. Jonathan then joined Avaya as an Advanced Solutions Architect, where they served as a Principal Consultant from May 2006 to August 2017. Following that, they joined Logicworks, an enterprise cloud automation and managed service provider, where they held various roles. Jonathan initially worked as a Cloud Systems Engineer from August 2017 to September 2019. Jonathan was later promoted to Senior Cloud Systems Engineer from September 2019 to July 2020. Subsequently, they served as a Cloud Solutions Engineering Manager from July 2020 to August 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Professional Services Engineering at Logicworks, a role they have been serving from August 2021 onwards.

Jonathan Pape has a Master's Degree in Information Systems from the University of Colorado Denver, which they obtained from 2003 to 2006. Jonathan also completed the Cisco Networking Academy program, specializing in CCNA Routing and Switching, from 1999 to 2001. In terms of certifications, Jonathan has various qualifications, such as being TOGAF 9 Certified (Enterprise Architecture) from The Open Group in November 2015, having an AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2018, and obtaining an Amazon Web Services DevOps Engineer - Professional certificate from AWS in September 2019. Additionally, they hold different VMware certifications, including VMware Certified Professional - Cloud (VCP-Cloud) in March 2013, VMware Certified Professional - Network Virtualization (VCP-NV) in January 2015, VMware Certified Professional 5 - Data Center Virtualization (VCP5-DCV) in June 2013, VMware Certified Professional 6 - Data Center Virtualization (VCP6-DCV) in November 2016, VMware Certified Professional 6 - Network Virtualization (VCP6-NV) in January 2015, and VMware Certified Professional 6.5 - Data Center Virtualization (VCP6.5-DCV) in October 2018. Furthermore, they are a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA Routing and Switching) since July 2001 and a Cisco Certified Network Professional Voice (CCNP Voice) since September 2009.
