Nikole Atterholm has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Nikole started their career as an Account Executive at Business Wire, where they presented marketing, PR, and IR products to high-profile clients. Nikole then worked as the Promotions and Special Events Manager at Mellow Wine Bar, where they implemented media plans and organized fundraisers. Following that, they served as the Marketing Manager at Webster Insurance Agency, where they identified business opportunities and developed ad campaigns. Nikole then transitioned to the role of Special Events Manager at Cohn Restaurant Group, overseeing sales and communication between departments. At The San Diego Union-Tribune, they worked as the Subscriber Communications Manager/Email Marketing Manager, responsible for budgeting, communications, and project tracking. Most recently, they worked at the Los Angeles Times, first as a Marketing Operations Manager, overseeing the inception of a new Consumer Marketing Operations department, and later as a Senior Manager, leading acquisition and retention campaigns. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Marketing Operations at the Los Angeles Times.
Nikole Atterholm obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations from Hawaii Pacific University from 1994-1998. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in MAOC from the same university, graduating in 1999.
