Clayton Smith

Clayton Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in health physics and emergency preparedness. Currently serving as a Health Physicist at the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality since August 2019, Clayton previously held roles as a Strategic Analyst at Innovatus IQ, LLC and Program Manager for the Radiological Emergency Preparedness Program at the Governor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness. Additional experience includes positions as a Radiological Emergency Preparedness Planner and Catastrophe Adjuster, as well as research and tutoring roles at the University of New Orleans. Clayton is skilled in programming languages and emergency management, holding a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of New Orleans.
