Alaina Mitsch

Alaina Mitsch has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific content and medical writing. Alaina currently holds the position of Director of Scientific Content at Lumanity since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Director of Scientific Content at Lumanity from March 2022 to April 2023.

Before joining Lumanity, Alaina worked at Cello Health and MedErgy. At Cello Health, they held roles such as Associate Director of Scientific Content from February 2021 to March 2022, Senior Medical Writer from July 2019 to February 2021, Medical Project Manager from December 2016 to July 2019, and Medical Writer from December 2013 to December 2016. A similar pattern of roles can be seen during their tenure at MedErgy, where they served as Senior Medical Writer from July 2019 to February 2021, Medical Project Manager from December 2016 to July 2019, and Medical Writer from December 2013 to December 2016.

At the same university, they also earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Chemistry, completing their studies in 2013. Outside of their academic achievements, Alaina Mitsch holds a certification as a Certified Medical Publication Professional (CMPP) from the ISMPP (International Society for Medical Publication Professionals).
