Annie Guan

Annie Guan serves as the Director of AI and ML at Luminar Technologies, leading engineering teams in the development and deployment of advanced ML/AI solutions, including transformer-based foundation models and multimodal LLMs. With extensive experience across multiple industries, Annie has held advisory roles at Alchemist Accelerator and research positions at Meta, where contributions included optimizing AI hardware and software co-design for high-performance systems. Previous leadership roles at Black Sesame Technologies, Aktana, NIO, Honda R&D, and Cisco involved pioneering work in AI embedded software, language modeling, and autonomous vehicle systems. Annie's academic background includes multiple degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from The George Washington University and ongoing studies at Stanford University and the University of California, Santa Cruz.
