Luca Filipi's work experience includes:
- Senior Software Engineer at Lumirithmic since December 2021.
- Realtime Research Engineer at Foundry from November 2020 to November 2021.
- Software Developer at MPC from June 2017 to October 2020, where they worked on Genesis, Technicolor's virtual production platform. Their responsibilities included building tools on top of the Unity game engine to support on-set workflows with real-time CG environments, implementing various systems and features such as GPU-based mesh deformers, user-facing VR tools, and automated asset workflows.
Luca Filipi started their education journey in 2007 at Dulwich College Shanghai, where they completed their secondary education. After that, they attended Imperial College London from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics. Building on their knowledge, they pursued further education at Imperial College London and earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computing Science from 2015 to 2016.
