Aleksandra Szymanska is an experienced researcher and finance professional currently serving as an Associate Researcher at the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER) since May 2023, focusing on issues related to migrations, climate change, racism, and discrimination. Prior to this role, Szymanska held positions at Amazon as a Finance Manager and Supply Chain Finance Controller from August 2019 to April 2023, where responsibilities included strategic finance tasks and team management. Szymanska also worked at PwC Luxembourg as a Senior Associate in Finance from November 2016 to July 2019, providing consulting services to public sector clients like the European Investment Bank and European Commission, and previously conducted research projects on social enterprise models and economic issues at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and the IAP-SOCENT research program.
