Mia Howes has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 2018, they worked as a Youth Worker at C-Collective Ltd and also served as a Distributor at Salmat. In 2019, they took on the role of Program Facilitator at Changemakers Collective. The following year, they worked as a Placement Student at Banyule City Council. In 2020, they joined MacKillop Family Services as a Residential Care Worker. Throughout this period, they also worked as a Glazier at Leadlight By Lisa from 2010 to 2021.

Mia Howes has a diverse education history that includes both formal degrees and additional certifications.

In 2017, Mia obtained a Certificate IV in Youth Work from Victoria University. The following year, in 2018, they completed a Diploma in Youth Work from the same institution.

In 2019, Mia enrolled in Victoria University's Bachelor program, majoring in Youth Work. Mia completed their degree in 2020.

Continuing their education in the field, Mia pursued a Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Trauma Informed Practice) at Melbourne Polytechnic in 2021.

Alongside their formal education, Mia has also obtained several certifications. In 2018, they completed Level 2 First Aid (HTLAID003) through First Aid Course Melbourne. In 2019, they completed an Introduction to Disability Awareness Training provided by ADCET - Australian Disability Clearinghouse on Education and Training.

Additionally, Mia has obtained various certifications related to mental health and youth support. In 2020, they completed the Youth Mental Health First Aid course offered by Mental Health First Aid Australia. Mia also completed a course titled "Understanding Anxiety, Depression, and CBT" through FutureLearn. In 2021, Mia refreshed their first aid skills by completing the HLTAID011R Provide First Aid (Refresher) course provided by the Australian Red Cross.

Finally, in 2020, Mia completed a course titled "Make it visible! Working with young people against (invisible) racism" offered by Cazalla-Intercultural.

Mia Howes has therefore built a solid foundation of formal education and additional certifications in the field of youth work and related areas.
