Simon Hobeck

Simon Hobeck has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles.

From 2022 onwards, Simon has been working at Made Tech, initially as a Senior Business Analyst and currently as a Lead Business Analyst.

Prior to that, from 2019 to 2021, Simon worked as an Operations Manager at Space Connect.

From 2016 to 2019, Simon ran a freelance business called Hobeck Consulting, where they served as a Consulting Business Analyst and Change Consultant. In this role, Simon specialized in gathering business requirements for software development projects, designing solutions, and collaborating with development teams for successful implementation. Additionally, Simon assisted organizations in clarifying their purpose and aims, making improvements to meet those aims.

Simon also has experience as the Chief Product Officer at Vieo Technologies from 2015 to 2016, where they helped found the business and played a key role in product design, market research, investor enlistment, and leading development teams.

Prior to that, from 2010 to 2015, Simon worked at ADP in various roles. Simon started as the Head of Business Analysts (HR.net) and later became the Chief Business Analyst, working on web-based HR software for multinational organizations. Simon also acted as a Proxy Product Owner for the development of the international HRIS and contributed to areas of performance management.

From 2006 to 2011, Simon worked at Vizual Business Tools. Simon first served as a Consultant, directly working with clients to implement web-based HR systems. Later, Simon became the Head of Business Analysts, where they created and led a team of Business Analysts and provided training to improve their skills and consistency in client delivery.

Simon's earliest work experience was as an Asbestos Consultant at National Britannia from 2003 to 2006. In this role, Simon conducted air building surveys, focused on air monitoring during asbestos removal, and revised ISO accredited documentation for compliance.

Simon Hobeck obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science from the University of East Anglia, where they attended from 2000 to 2002. In 2014, they also obtained a certification in Business Analysis, specifically the BCS International Diploma, from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
