Panos Voulgaris

Panos Voulgaris has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Starting in 2002, they worked as a CAD/CAM Operator at MALVI, a design and communication agency. Panos then transitioned to the role of Supervisor 3D/CAD and later became an Architect and Junior Partner within the company. In August 2015, they became the Creative Director and Partner, leading MALVI in a multidisciplinary direction and launching their London office.

In 2020, Panos founded function(), a digital development studio that focuses on creating immersive digital experiences and eCommerce solutions. Panos also serves as the Chairman of the XR Marketing Advisory Group at AIXR - The Academy of International Extended Reality, where they aim to address challenges and promote immersive technology in the marketing industry.

Panos had a brief experience in the Hellenic Army as a Gunner and Field Radio Operator, serving at the 34th Mechanized Infantry Brigade. Panos also had internships and positions at IUAV and IUAV - LAR Research Lab, providing technical support and design assistance.

Prior to that, Panos worked as a Managing Editor for Cine.gr, Greece's largest movie database, responsible for organizing and coordinating staff.

Panos Voulgaris attended the University of Macedonia from 2000 to 2003, where they studied International, European, and Economic Studies. Panos then enrolled in the Università Iuav di Venezia from 2003 to 2009, pursuing a degree in Architecture.
