Dan Swick

Dan Swick is an experienced Frontend Platform Engineer at Mapbox since August 2015, where contributions include collaborating across teams to enhance efficiency and troubleshoot frontend engineering challenges. Previously, Dan held multiple roles at Mapbox, including Manager of Support Engineering, overseeing a diverse support team to facilitate customer success with location-based applications. Additional experience includes developing a curriculum for an introductory web mapping course as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of San Francisco and project management at Delta Institute, focusing on environmental initiatives and geospatial technology. Dan's earlier roles also include project coordination at WRD Environmental, vice presidency at RFP Mapping LLC, and research at the University of Kansas. Dan earned a BGS in Environmental Studies from the University of Kansas and completed a program at General Assembly in 2015.
