Carol Mishaw McGill has extensive work experience in various roles related to program development, operations management, and client services in the disability support sector. Carol worked at March of Dimes Canada from 2013 until the present, where they held positions such as Director of Operations and Associate Director of Independent Living. In these roles, they managed staff, implemented quality improvement initiatives, and oversaw fiscal management. Prior to that, they worked at the Canadian Paraplegic Association Ontario for 8 years as a Senior Manager of Regional Client Services, where they were responsible for program areas such as peer support and spinal cord injury alliance. Carol also has experience as an Accommodation Services Manager at Simcoe Community Services and as a Manager of Client Services at the Ministry of Community, Family, and Children's Services. In these roles, they demonstrated skills in risk management, strategic leadership, and human resource management. From 1994 to 2002, they worked at Ontario March of Dimes as an Operations Manager, overseeing the delivery of attendant services and managing staffing groups.
Carol Mishaw McGill obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Trent University, where they studied from 1985 to 1988.
