Brent Wickham

Brent Wickham has extensive work experience in various roles within the academic technology and information technology sectors. Brent currently serves as the Information Technology Director - Academic Technology at Maricopa Community Colleges, where they oversee the administration of enterprise technologies for 10 colleges and the district office. Brent'sresponsibilities include managing teams responsible for various technologies such as the Learning Management System, CRM, ITSM, AWS Cloud Infrastructure, and software development teams. Brent also works as a Software Engineer at Maricopa Community Colleges, where they manage products for 10 colleges and the district office, including Office 365, Webex, Canvas, SysAid Help Desk, and Power BI. Brent is involved in planning, designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions for the employee intranet, as well as managing SaaS products.

Prior to their current roles, Brent worked at the University of Phoenix, where they held various positions. Brent served as an Assessment Systems Manager, supporting the university's assessment systems and providing process design and improvement services. Brent also worked as a Project Manager/Evaluation and Improvement Manager, leading or supporting institutional quality improvement initiatives and conducting data analyses for decision-making and improvement strategies. Additionally, they served as a Project Manager, coordinating and managing campus-level projects and providing technical expertise. Earlier in their career, Brent worked as an IT Operations Administrator/Residency Project Analyst and a Technical Support Specialist.

Brent Wickham holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Phoenix, which they completed in 2011. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology from Western International University in 2007. In 2002, they obtained an Associate of Occupational Studies degree in Computer Networking and Information Technology from High-Tech Institute-Phoenix. Additionally, Brent holds certifications such as Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner, ITIL Foundation Level, Cisco Certified Network Associate, Microsoft Certified Professional - Windows 2000 Server, and Certified Novell Administrator.
