Doug Jorgesen

Doug Jorgesen has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Doug started their career as an intern at Intel Corporation in 2005 before moving on to work as an intern at Sun Microsystems in 2009. In 2011, they joined Marki Microwave as a Member of the Technical Staff and later became an Engineering Manager. From 2018 to 2020, Doug held the position of Director of Products at Marki Microwave, responsible for generating new revenue and leading a team of engineers and vendors. In 2020, they were promoted to Vice President of Engineering, and in 2022, they became Vice President of Application Engineering at the same company.

Doug Jorgesen completed their education in a chronological order as follows:

From 1996 to 2000, they attended the International Baccalaureate and received a Diploma, however, the field of study is not specified.

Subsequently, from 2000 to 2004, they pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Math at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Lastly, from 2004 to 2010, Doug obtained their Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Photonics from UC San Diego.
