Matt Temkin is a seasoned audio/visual professional with extensive experience in the performing arts and event management. Currently serving as the Director of Audio/Visual Operations and Technology at Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan since May 2007, Matt has developed innovative workflow management systems and oversees capital budgeting and part-time crew scheduling. Concurrently, involvement with the National Yiddish Theatre - Folksbiene as a drummer and percussionist alongside roles in supertitle and projection design showcases a versatile skill set in live performance environments. Additional commitments include performing regularly at the Stephen Wise Free Synagogue and leading Matt Temkin's Yiddishe Jam Band, which organizes numerous events and concerts. Matt also contributed to the YIVO Institute For Jewish Research in upgrading audio systems to preserve archival material. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Musicology from Brooklyn College and a Bachelor's degree in Music Literature from Northeastern University.
