Michael Tan Boon Siong

Michael Tan Boon Siong has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on bartending and bar management roles. Michael started their career as a Bar Supervisor at Igor's The Main Event Restaurant, where they helped create a unique dining experience with a scary theme. Michael then worked as a Bar Manager at Manchester Pub before moving on to Party Box Ktv Pte Ltd as a Bartender. Michael then became an Operations Manager at Dong Ba Pub, where they gained experience in managing the overall operations of the establishment.

In 2010, Michael joined Marina Bay Sands as a Senior Bartender, a role they held for three years before transitioning to Westin Hotels & Resorts as a Supervisor in the Cook & Brew department. After their time at Westin, they joined W Hotels as a Team Leader, where they supervised and guided the team in providing exceptional service.

In 2017, Michael returned to Marina Bay Sands, this time as a Bartender, and later joined Marquee Nightclub and DayClub as a Spirits Player. In their current role, they assist in managing the liquor store at Marquee Singapore and is responsible for planning the bartenders' stations and managing the individual bars' food and hygiene recording procedures.

Michael Tan Boon Siong completed their primary education at Yuqun Primary School from 1983 to 1989, earning their PSLE qualification. Michael then attended Bukit View Secondary School from 1989 to 1994, where they obtained their N-Level certificate. Later, from 1995 to 1997, Michael studied at Shatec and earned a Certificate in Food & Beverages.
